Socks are done time to move on to something else.I have been busy making items for my shop on Etsy.here are some of the new arrivals.

It has been a while since I have updated this blog.sometimes life just gets in the way.My local yarn shop"All Tied Up Yarns" is giving sock knitting lessons.So,I had to sign up.I have been wanting to make socks forever but always seemed to get stuck on my own.

This is our homework assignment for this week,to work up to heel turn.At first it was hard to handle all four needles but now I am enjoying the process.I will try to keep you posted as to my progress.

                                                                     Free Pattern
2 to 3 skeins bulky yarn
#15 straight needles
Cast on 19 stitches
Row 1 Purl
Row 2 Purl
Row 3 K2*yo,slip1,K1,pass slip stitch over knit stitch*repeat to end of row.
Row 4 Purl
Repeat these four rows until desired length,bind off,weave in ends.

This is the first hat I have knit this season.I used Red Heart Treasures.It took not quite a full skein.

I really enjoyed making this colorful trivet.It is a vintage pattern updated with bright happy colors.

Planning on making more to give a gifts and to be used with jar candles as a candle mat.

My newest  fascination is the mandala.I just love these little colored creations.So,of coarse I couldn't make a little one .It needed to be super sized.

I really like how it turned out and I just used scraps of yarn leftovers.It now sits in the middle of my dining room table.
